The requirements for obtaining a student visa are as follows:
- Financial requirement: About CAN $ 60,000 in an account held by the applicant or family members. The account may be held by a family friend. The amount could be higher depending on the program chosen.
- Qualifications: A demonstration that the applicant meets the basic academic requirements for program chosen
- Acceptance letter from a Canadian Community College or University
- A receipt of full or partial tuition fee paid in advance. This is not mandatory but is a good demonstration of commitment.
