I have not seen a country that takes pride in its education system than Canada does. Community colleges offer diploma and certificate programs that are highly recognized in the job market. Canadian Degree programs usually take 4 years to complete and are rated among the highest in the world.
College Fees
I recruit students for colleges all over Canada. College fees differ from province to province. All Canadian Community Colleges are government regulated.
The cheapest community college - among the ones I recruit for - charges CAN $ 4,000 per semester. There are 2 semesters in a year and that brings the total to CAN $ 8,000. To ease the visa application process, applicants are advised to pay a full year in advance.
My Charges
To get you an college admission letter, I will charge you a meagre CAN $ 595 plus postage costs if you need the letter to reach you by courier. You will use the acceptance letter to apply for a student visa. If you need help to apply for the student visa, I will levy new charges in the region of CAN $ 1000.00. This is not little money and that is why it is optional.
Work Permit and your future in Canada
As an international student, Canada will allow you to work while in school. After your graduation, you will be allowed 3 years to seek your fortunes in the open job market. To qualify as a skilled worker after the 3 years is an achievement within the reachable range. This is the option I advise every smart young professional to try out. If it has worked for others, it can surely work for you.
